BBG: Month One Down
It's been over a year since I completed a Kayla Itsinies workout. I was probably in the best shape of my life -- running, going to Orange Theory at least 3x a week, swimming, hot yoga, and more.
Since I didn't have the same amount of time for my LISS day workouts, I was a little nervous about results.
The BBG workouts/plan reminded me how much I enjoyed variety and not necessarily listening to the same corny instructors' jokes.
There's still a lot of jumping, especially on leg days, but I think there is a more well rounded focus on the entire body. For LISS days, I've been trying to mix in running, yoga and dancing. I've done a few days of the elliptical. I keep thinking about jumping in the pool again, but for some reason swimming doesn't feel as convenient.
So far, I feel like I've seen the most improvement in my arms. They are more defined and I also see abs poking through.
