Hi.

Thanks for stopping by! Let's get sweaty and figure out this whole parenting thing together!

Jordyn Ivy: 10 months

Jordyn Ivy: 10 months

I am in to everything! Don’t believe me? Let me break it down for you. This month I perfected my climbing skills. If you turn your back, I am going to be standing on the chair looking at my favorite place — outside. Birds are usually out there, people! And have you seen the way the wind blows the trees?

I also figured out how to open and close cabinets. It’s been fun testing Mom’s and Dad’s memory to lock them up. And their reflexes because if I see that dishwasher open I’m gunning for it and will be taking out all the silverware.

My standing and exploring has also led me to figure out how to open and close toilet seat covers. I’ve gotten my hands a little wet recently.

And in the funniest turn of events, the other day I figured out that if I pull the cord attached to the camera it moves the camera. I did this while fighting a nap and Mom came in readjusted the camera and then moved the crib so that I couldn’t reach it. But then I could reach the light switch to my closet. Jokes on her! Flipping that on and off is just as fun.

My favorite book right now is Barnyard Dance — I stomp my feet and clap my hands. Clapping in general is delightful.

My top two teeth are slowly breaking through, but only having two teeth isn’t stopping me from continuing to eat anything. Bamba. I’m just going to leave it at that.

I can “moo” like a cow, “baa” like a sheep and chitter like a monkey.

I traveled to Legoland, which was super fun.

I am very interested in other babies. I will talk to them all day if I could.
