Jordyn Ivy: 6 months

I’m not entirely sure how she’s been around for half a year. This was a super fun month filled with belly laughs and huge milestones.

Jordyn quickly went from tripod sitting to being able to sit on my own for a decent amount of time. She can also army crawl like a good little soldier. She started going backwards and finally figured out that if she pushes off her toes she can go forward. You should see her plank! All those 100s Jordyn’s been doing has really paid off. (#pilates reference) It turns out this “extension” is not the best and we are working on helping her learn to move without that. Also she can spin in lots of circles. 

The outdoor swing has become a favorite pastime and she went in a pool for the first time. She was excited and then she was very much NOT excited, but eventually loved it. 

Jordyn is very interesting in getting scraps from the table — she stole my apple slice the other day and she had carrots.

And she went to a car wash. That was cool. Maybe with all this vaccine business Jordyn’ll be able to go to the magical world that is Target soon or the library. 

Jordyn have so much to say and no one understands yet, but she’s getting closer. She can say “hi” when someone walks in to the room.
