Weekly Meal Plan: There wasn't really a theme this week
Hurricane Matthew was upon us as I planned our menu. I looked for leftover-friendly meals and crock pot recipes and proteins I could throw in the freezer and still make a few days later.
Sunday: Rosh Hashana dinner out
Monday: Shrimp Scampi Tacos with Cesar Slaw
this was so unbelievably delicious. I would 100% make this again in a heart beat. The dressing was so easy to make and I used it on all my lunch salads the rest of the week. The recipe is from Skinny Taste.
Tuesday: Orcheitta with Spicy Sausage, Kale, Red Pepper and Onion
by know you have seen this pop up on our menus almost every other week. Sometimes we fall in love with a recipe and just make it on the regular. This happens to be that meal right now. Recipe also from Skinny Taste.
Wednesday: Hawaiian Pineapple Pork
adapted this recipe, which was supposed to be a Hawaiian Pork Bowl because Josh isn't a huge fan of pineapple. So we had a little change up.
Thursday: pistachio salmon
Friday: Roasted Chicken with tomatoes and red onions plus a few yummy sides
so this went from a super healthy dinner to not so much when serious cravings kicked in and we needed cream spinach and French fries too.
Saturday: cheat meal = Bambini's Pizza honestly the best meatball pizza I've ever had
