Alexia Clark Workout Review
You guys know I love a workout program that let's me workout on my own time in my house with all the toys I have at my disposal. I've been a devoted BBG-user for a few years, but there are months where I just can't wrap my brain around coming up with LISS-day activities. Especially, during the Summer months when walking outside to get the mail makes me melt.
I don't remember how I found Alexia on Instagram, but I started following her earlier this year. Then I started following members of the #queenteam and watching them get their butts kicked at least five days a week. So one March night while in bed and playing on Instagram, I pulled the trigger.
Since then my Monday through Friday have been filled with complex combinations and weight-based HIIT workouts. The best part of Alexia's workouts is that each day is different. Sure, you see some repeated moves but when they are paired with different ones it feels like an entirely different workout.
I mostly follow the home workouts, but throw in a few gym circuits when I can. I love that I have the option of both, it keeps the challenge fresh. Speaking of “challenges” Fridays are a special challenge day. It can be anything from pushing you to lift heavier to stamina. Aside from challenge days, you can expect two full body days, and then a day focused on upper and lower respectively.
The best part is that for each workout, you can really make it your own. Only have time for 30 Minutes? Fine. Feel like you can go more than a hour? You’ve got circuits for that. But then you have the whole Queen Team behind you, sharing their progress and PRs, applauding you for a job well done, sharing tips and keeping you honest.
The area that I’ve seen the most change is my butt. There’s legit lift there!
