Hi.

Thanks for stopping by! Let's get sweaty and figure out this whole parenting thing together!

What the Kangaroo Doing?

What the Kangaroo Doing?

We’ve reached the questioning everything stage. Not in a bad way, just in a “I need to know more about every little detail” kind of way.

So you can imagine the amount of questions we fielded when we went to Bedner’s Farm’s petting zoo by Pet N Parties. This was not your average petting zoo, there were camels, kangaroos and SLOTHS!!! (Mild excitement on Mommy’s part)

For a meager $10 you get placed into a large pen with access to goats, sheep, cows, camels, ponies and kangaroos. You have to pay an additional fee for feed or carrots for the camels.

Dylan’s mind was blown when we walked in and was surrounded by goats. She was a little shy at first but when she warmed up she got really excited to spot the baby goats and pet them. She was still apprehensive when THEY approached her though.

She loved the idea of feeding the goats. She did not love the execution of it. She would take one tiny morsel and stand incredibly far away holding it out in her hand and then throw it on the ground. At one point she grabbed a handful and simply placed it in my hand to feed the goat.

Her favorite had to have been the pony ride though, close to my joy from petting a kangaroo.
