Hi.

Thanks for stopping by! Let's get sweaty and figure out this whole parenting thing together!

Shaun T Knows What He is Doing

Shaun T Knows What He is Doing

T25 was a great way to get back in the exercising game following Dylan's birth. It wasn't much of a time commitment, which meant that during my maternity leave I could get the workout in during her naps and STILL get a quick snooze myself.

The 25 minutes were also a lifesaver when I had to figure out how to fit in a workout in the morning before heading into work. (yes, I know I work from home but I still like to be clean!)

Alpha and Beta had so much jumping I thought my knees were going to give out. I lost weight slowly and I didn't feel like there was a significant noticeable difference, but I kept going. The workouts did become progressively harder and the "speed" workouts were seriously intense.

I started to feel in my groove with Beta since it had weight exercises and those are my favorite way to train. By the time Gamma rolled around I was ready for the focus on strength. I honestly loved the Gamma workouts. They were tough and I was sore all over. I love that feeling. (yes, I am crazy.)

Although Beta had a "core" focus, I didn't really see too much change in my midsection. I felt like I had to add in more traditional crunches to my workouts daily to begin to get the definition I was seeking.

By the end of T25 I was below my pre-pregnancy weight (the lowest I've been in years), fit back in my jeans again, and comfortable buying a new bikini for girls' weekend. The pictures above are in order from the start of the program (row 1), end of Alpha (row 2), end of Beta (row 3), and end of the entire program (row 4).

I still have a little bit to go, and we have started 21 Day Fix Extreme, but I am pretty happy with what T25 did for me. Shaun T certainly knows what he is doing....maybe Insanity will be next.
