Jordyn Ivy: 9 months

Can you believe I’m 9 months old today? This is probably the most fun month I’ve had yet. I’m going places people! Literally.

I’m a social butterfly, going to friends’ houses, music class and even gym class. My friends and I are having some amazing conversations but don’t get too close because your ears may not enjoy the screeching.

I’m also moving and grooving on the ground. I figured out how to climb the stairs and Mom and Dad quickly put up gates. I found it hilarious, like they could contain me! It’s just one more thing for me to practice my favorite thing…standing! Or rather pulling myself up to stand. There’s been some instances where I let go and can hold myself up for a hot second.

Next to music and standing, food is so much fun. Asparagus, raspberries, salmon and eggs are tanking high, but honestly I won’t turn anything down.

In addition to screeching, I can also tell you I want more “mo”, that I want to read a book “bok”, and in some instances I can say “yea.” I have a lot to say, and will use my hands to express each and every point. Plus I wave! I may have said “Dylan” the other day, but haven’t said it again so it might have just been a trick.

I’m starting to figure out how to turn the pages in my books, and I love knocking blocks over.
