Getting help with activity ideas: kiwi co review
We love a good activity around this house, but my recent work schedule coupled with some personal commitments has meant I have had less time than I like to Pinterest search for ideas.
There are a couple of staples Dylan’s been asking for (graffiti painting, walking water) that I’ve got the right supplies to pull off but that can only take us so far.
Enter Kiwi Co.; oddly enough I first heard about this age-appropriate activity subscription box on Conan Needs a Friend (side note: if you haven’t listened to this yet, I highly recommend it. It’s like eavesdropping on the dinner party conversations that you never knew you wanted to be invited to).
We’ve received 4 boxes to-date (one a month) and have found a way to space out the three activities that come in each. The themes somehow seem to tie directly to what Dylan is currently interested in or is learning about at school (everything from rainbows to dinosaurs to the farm).
The activities are easy for her to either do on her own, or with us with minimal fuss and not a ton of cleanup. I particularly love the little “educational” pamphlet because I have been trying really hard to put the phone down while we spend time together.
If you are looking for unique gifts for the Holidays, I highly recommend checking this out. There is a Black Friday sale happening, where you can get 60% off. Use this link: https://www.kiwico.com/Refer?i=LaneyL1
