"How much do you want to cut it?" "Not that much, I need to be able to pull it back into a ponytail." For the longest time, that was how a haircut started for me. I was terrified to cut my hair to a length that rendered the ponytail impossible. When I finally worked up the nerve to go bob I began relying heavily on an excessive amount of bobby pins and headbands. When I am running outside I opt for a hat more often than not, for some reason I haven't been able to bring the hat into the gym. And that's where I have been having problems lately.
I rotate between three styles of headbands: Lululemon Fly Away Tamer, Lululemon Swiftly Headband and Underarmour UA Mini Headbands (ok so I also have the Lululemon Bang Buster Headband that I only wear when I am running errands). I have really thin hair that gets really slick when I am sweating up a storm so lately these headbands are just not cutting it. Which is just so odd because they have the silicon in them to keep them from slipping.
If I am on my back at all, that headband is left on the mat where I was just laying. Sometimes when I am jumping rope or doing treadmill sprints I feel/see the headband starting to move up the crown of my head. It is just so frustrating, I need something that works.
I've heard good things about Junk Brand Headbands, especially the ones that tie. And I figure if the ladies rocking crossfit WODs aren't having issues, then maybe I should try those.
Are there any other headbands that I should try?
